The VC 160 on parallel snare compression and clipping it (t-racks classic clipper) makes the snare to sound huge!

well i have an offer for the three UAD 1176 plug-ins at 75$, so I may not need the softube emulation, but at least will be able to compare. Never looked at them in the first place because I thought (wrongly) that Guitar Rig was required... thanks xcore

Thanks! When it says "Do the manual installation," does that mean just copying the relevant files to their proper place, or do I need to download the installer from the NI website?
