This popular compressor/peak limiter, based on FET technology, is renowned for its super-fast attack and unique 'All Button Mode' — a special combination of attack, release, knee and ratio settings that creates a definitive, slightly overdriven sound. they made them standalone so you don' t need to use guitar rig to use them although i think it would have been best to have both options still

I had a lot of asio, ram and crash issue with their last versions (1.1.0), using samplitude pro X. Hope they fix it ... But all the NI Vc series are one of the best compressors.
