-Download DP805 from MOTU
-Off to internet connection
-Run installer
-Replace k’ed to dir “/Applications/Digital\ Performer.app/Contents/MacOS/Digital\ Performer”
-Run DP805 Open internet connection.write email,name,serial.(UNION text)
-RUN DB805 if its first run close your internet connection again while examining au..

Just FYI, sorry... If you already have UNiON's K'd 8.02, you can peacefully d'load 8.05 off MOTU's website and overwrite.

Unique, totally agree: my first choice in DAWs. Indeed tricky, but absolutely uncrappy =D

Aaand, i'm no Mark Of The UNiONkorn employee. But i'd be glad to be one, for both my MOTU soundcard and DP8 do a great job on me (uh, nope: that's not because i'm a DawP addict or because i like to be DP'd *urgh* lol) tongue

If you already have UNiON's K'd 8.02, you can peacefully d'load 8.05 off MOTU's website and overwrite.


Doh! I have Union's K'd 8.01. Anybody know if overwriting will work with that version, too? And in any case, how does overwriting a K'ed version with an un-K'ed download from MOTU's website keep on ticking?

paregoric, my friend... i've only tested with UNiON's 8.02 release, but i'm pretty sure that overwriting their 8.01 will keep on ticking just as well, for the trick is that you do have a K'd executable, but then you've got to register as if you were *hu-hum* well, UNiON, and by doing so you write down a license file in your disk which apparenty holds thru v.8.05.
Don't take my words as granted: zip and bak'p and try... should work. =)

Working for me Mac OS X 10.9.5
Download the full installer DP807 from the website http://www.motu.com/download , then disconnect your internet and install (backup original Digital Performer) then copy the crack into content of DP807.app. Launch DP8 and write the SN then connect your internet and hit activate. (just do what crack.text says)
It will examine your plugins, while beginning examine your plugins disconnect your internet again. Wait until everything finish. Open new project then close.
In case disable the outgoing connection for DP807.
Optional: You can remove the crack and place with the original (Digital Performer)
