Is this some kid's game? I'm tired. I will never update these plugins again - it's always more of the same! I am very grateful to the posters, but Waves is becoming unviable. Goodbye, Waves!

waves use the same algorithms for most of their plugins for over a decade now.
seriously what you need in a serious mixing session ? 1176, LA2A, ssl channelstrip/comp, neve 1073, some saturation, reverb/delay,couple ampsims. You have all those covered in much much better detail and definition from IK T-Racks, Plugin AllIance,Blackrooster, TC Electronic,Slate,FabFilter,Fuse AudioLabs etc...

so yeah it's your choice; i'd say don't bother...

Hello guys,

i have an odd question about the installation process of this package here.
I didn't see a readme text file, so i installed it right out of the folder.

I didn't know that mac users should place the extracted waves folder into an subfolder,
and then continue with the installation process. I saw that later.

So everything went right, all plugs are there and running. But i wonder if
i have any disadvantages over putting the waves folder into the subfolder
during the installation, or installing it right out of the folder i extracted from the .rar files.

That little thing makes me crazy insane, i just installed my MacBook new with Mojave.
so anyone can make any comment about this.

p.s. thanks for the great plugin package. liked waves plugins since i started recording.
