It Is Weird Is That When you Open Waves Central It Says There Are Updates But It Does Not Give Any Details It Doesn't Tell You What The Update is For I like Waves Plugins But As a Company They Suck Ass Thanks For The Upload

Has anybody else got SSL G-Master Comp working?
For me it hasn't been present in Logic (the only DAW I have to test) on any of the Waves versions for the last few years. I've tried installing the full packages on multiple machines and it's never there. All the other hundreds of plugins seem to be there, but that is always missing.

It's always worked on my machines (2 different MBPs), from Sierra to Mojave.

Thank you for replying. That's wild then. I have tried on my MBP and and my cMP, completely separate systems/installations and it's always the one missing plug.
Do you select "install all", or exclude certain packs when installing? Maybe there's a clash?

I usually try to de-select the Soundgrid stuff and the hardware drivers when I install. You do know the name of the plug is "SSLComp" and not "SSL G-Master Comp", right? I just pulled mine up to double-check.

I have the same problems, and I've put the installer in the public folder of my Mac. It's been ages since I've been able to get any of the Waves products to install. It doesn't matter what version I use. There is some special voodoo you just have to know.

What's the deal? I updated Waves Central, copied the Data folder to my desktop, tried to load it as an offline installer in WC and could not get it to load at all. I put it in the Waves Offline Installer folder in my Public folder, same results. I wound up having to just go online and update my existing v11 install via Waves Central. It's been a while since I've updated Waves and I assumed everything was self-explanatory ... but some instructions would definitely have been nice.

The license bundle installer, however, did the trick, everything working great here on Mojave.

(Edit: I figured out what I did wrong after browsing around a bit for some actual install instructions. I forgot to stick in the ".cen" file when I moved the Data folder to the Offline Installer folder. Again, a set of instructions with this would have been great.)

I stopped downloading these updates long time ago and started using the official waves Offline installer instead – the ink is somewhere in the comments of other releases.

Next, I use the "Delete Waves.pkg" from MacRuslan's release to delete the previous installation completely.

Then I install the plugins I need from the offline Installer and use the Pattcher/Keygen from TEAM Return. Boom done. Really fast, clean process, no headaches.

I've used the Waves Central updater a few times -- I'd happily just download the k instead of the whole package. I just assumed this would work like it did in the past: drag the Data folder to your desktop, install Waves Central and select the Data folder inside WC for an offline install. This time around, I didn't even uninstall anything, I just replaced the old Waves Central app with this one, got online, updated everything, restarted, ran the patcher and then went through all the AU Validators. Seemed to work just fine.

No draggin required. Just point the installer to the location of the download.

Uuuhm, you don't want to go online with a patched installation aka illegal licence. That data, which is your UNIQUE MAC Adrdess gets send off to waves then... bad idea!

Do you mean Team RET? I can’t get the the recent patcher/keygen from them and R2R to work with the recent releases, it always says the plugins aren’t authorized (I’ve tried everything I can think of). I’ve been using an offline installer from October patched with the old hexwars patcher and everything works fine so not a big deal but wouldn’t mind having access to studioRack.

Yes, that one. It works great including inserts for Omni Channel, Mixhub and StudioRack.

Install, replace the licence module, use the Keygen to create a licence file based on your hardware MAC Address (without the ":" between the digits), put it in the license folder, start your host, it scans the plugins and everything is working great.

I actually don't know why people are having so many issues with it. In my opinion it's the best patch yet. But I am using a hackintosh with disabled SIP and a lot of other macOS security bullshit disabled and maybe that's why it is easier to get it to work. But I doubt it.

yeah, I have no idea why it’s been giving me so many problems, I’ve tried plenty of times the same way you described. A bit frustrating knowing it’s on my end but I’ll put it aside for now

I'm using the same methodology, but it seems that Studiorack doesn't let me have parallel channels and says that I need to reinstall the plugin. Also, the standalone studio rack app does not open. Can you confirm if yours is working please?

It seems I install it succesfully but i can´tt see any v11 plugin in Logic Pro 10.5 neither in 10.3.3 .
Logic Au manager scan all the plugins but no way.
I Only can see waves V10 in Logic
I`m on Mojave last update
