Open Terminal and type:

sysctl -a | grep machdep.cpu.features


... then hit "Return". If you see "AVX 1.0" or "AVX 2" in the resulting list, then you have AVX support on your machine. Somebody else just posted that you need AVX 2, but I didn't see that in the system requirements for this. My 2011 MBP has AVX 1.0, so you're probably okay, but you'll definitely want to check.

Both AVX1 and AVX2 seem to be supported.

Opening Mac Terminal and running
sysctl -a | grep machdep.cpu.features |tr ' ' '\n' |grep ^AVX*
will return available CPU AVX features.

I am on MBP late 2013 with OSX 10.9.5 and the app runs without problems but neither VST nor AU show up in Bitwig, Logic or Live -
and with Blue Cat Patchwork I am getting only an error message. I had asked the IK support about my system beforehand and they said it should work...
Anyone else having this problem?

no, works fine on mojave, logic etc. Try restarting. Or reinstall it maybe.

Thanks for helping, but both restart and de-install / reinstall did not work and it is still the same: the app works, the plugin (vst & au) won't show up.
I also changed the plugs permission to the way they are with the MODO Bass plug and the new IK Hammond (both plugins are working here) but again no luck.
My MBP has AVX, so this is not the problem.

Same situation here. i7 2600k Hackintosh OSX 10.9.5. Does not show up in Logic or the latest Reaper. Can't find a solution.

Since your are on OSX 10.9.5 too, my guess is that it has something to do with that - although the MODO DRUM specs say that it should work.
I had this maybe two times over the last year that a plugin did not show up while the specs said it should. When contacting the devs of these plugins about that they said they overlooked something regarding OSX 10.9., made changes in no time and then the plugins showed up and worked.
Obviously we can't ask the IK support for help so I searched the net including the IK forum but found nothing regarding this issue. Damn.

AVX processors:

- Intel: Sandy Bridge processors (Q1 2011) and newer. Generally, CPUs with the commercial denomination "Core i3/i5/i7" support them, whereas "Pentium" and "Celeron" CPUs don't.
- AMD: Jaguar-based processors and newer.
