I wonder why the NI stuff stopped being released.

There still were a few Reaktor updates, razor, etc, but all the other stuff, reverbs, compressors, instruments, suddenly, nothing, nada, zero.

Are there any major reasons ? Could it be a copy/protection reason ? But if it was a question of protection, teams, even non official groups, wouldn't be able to release kontakt versions, right ?

Maybe most of all the NI soft haven't received any updates since months.. or even years. .?

Next big thing, that was supposed to release by February, as the new Massive X plug-in.
Massive was probably the most used vst instrument, before the zebras, divas, omnisphere, spire, synthmaster, etc etc, became famous. Pretty much every single producer, beginner or pro, had a copy of massive.

Massive X could be a gigantic bomb. If they keep backwards compatibility with massive 1, by allowing the import of the thousands of commercial soundbanks available, it would be even better.

For sure, NI is going to protect it like never before.
It will be funny, to see if some teams will be able to crack it, and release it here.

With Pigments, dune 3, serum, ableton wavetable, synthmaster one, waves codex, halion wavetable, avenger, and many many other great wavetable-based vst instruments, and seeing how massive1 had set a benchmark, NI really NEED to come out with something truly out-of-this-galaxy... unique, with new features that can create never-heard-before sounds... just a simple massive upgrade WON'T BE ENOUGH..

Can't wait.
