STUDIO LEGENDS
VC 76 – Fast, punchy FET compressor
VC 2A – Smooth, warm optical compressor
VC 160 – Bold, dirty VCA compressor

COMPRESS TO IMPRESS
Three of the most popular compressors in studio history, with added sidechaining and parallel compression, for legendary character!

THE VINTAGE ADVANTAGE
NATIVE INSTRUMENTS and Softube present VINTAGE COMPRESSORS —painstakingly accurate emulations of three of the most heavily-used compressors in studio history.

The VC 76, VC 2A, and VC 160 feature a modern, clean design for intuitive usability while each maintains its own unmistakable sound. Thanks to added sidechaining and parallel compression, these VINTAGE COMPRESSORS actually improve on the originals.

The VINTAGE COMPRESSORS collection includes all three devices. Each compressor is also available separately. All effects run as native plug-ins in your host DAW.

THREE'S COMPANY
Each of the three compressors has its own unique character and specific advantages:

VC 76: Workhorse compressor with a fast attack. Great presence, punchy, clear high end. Good for drums, vocals or stereo limiting.

VC 2A: Smooth compressor with a silky, natural sound. Great on vocals, bass, pads and guitar.

VC 160: Classic compressor for added attack and a subtle drive. Especially good on kickdrum, snare, bass or guitar.

EVEN BETTER THAN THE REAL THING
All three VINTAGE COMPRESSORS come with an added sidechain input. This essential enhancement provides much more than the characteristic ducking/pumping sound, allowing a wide range of creative compression techniques. Each VINTAGE COMPRESSOR also provides a dry control, for applying parallel compression.

ABOUT SOFTUBE
VINTAGE COMPRESSORS is produced in collaboration with Softube. These "Swedish rock 'n' roll scientists" specialize in incredibly accurate software emulations of professional audio hardware. As well as working with NATIVE INSTRUMENTS, they make a wide range of their own products. Their reputation in the industry is exceptional.

All of these damn things dont work for me... evrytime I try to istall update, a "failure" symbol comes up sayin I need to do a "Full Installation."

However, I did that years ago.... II try batchmodding but it doesn;t work.

I know we all ran into this with other software, but I cant remember what the fix was...

do you know mate??

Path to content directory and install directory in .plist file refers to "Macintosh HD" system HD. You can change this with the name of your system HD with an utility like Plistedit pro for example. After this modification, the installer should run fine...

since I had alreaady installed all NI plugs a couple years ago, I just followed "update" instructions, and neglected plist.

All good after that.

Too me, the instructions are wrong.

I "just needed an update to my version," but still had to to the "full install/plist-thing?"

anyways... super happy to have all these!!!!!
I really like NI's plugs.

If you have issues to installe N I updates here is the steps i do & it's work for me :

-Download & Installe the N I Demo plugin you want .

-Installe updates From Platensesoul Releases

-apply the crack and it's done .

I thinks it's the better method to have a clean installation and no issue in future updates ;)

Does this mean that you managed to get them working @dim_triad? If so, may I ask how?

for whatever reason, depite the fact that I only needed an update, I still had to copy the plist.

???? go figure, ???

super happy to have all these though, NI's plugs are excellent I feel. and despite the Slate VMR everything I have, I still find NiI's VCA-76 has a different character than other 1176 emu's.

thanks to everybody'sd help and concerns

Thanks for the explanation @dim_triad.

Funny you should say that about the 76, it's exactly how I feel about their 2A!

Dear platensesoul
Thanks for the updates. Very easy to install. Easy instructions. All working fine except:

... and this is not in anyway to appear unthankful.
But the Maschine crashing problem persists in these updates as in all of your recent releases.
It only happens with Maschine 2.4.6 loaded inside Logic Pro X (latest).
I get EXC_BAD_ACCESS (Code Signature Invalid)
Working fine in stand alone Maschine app though.

Could be Logic related - could be anything. Maybe there's a magic terminal trick to fix this?
For now I have to revert back to version 1.1.1 for the VST version.

Guys, stop that. Someone who does cracks isn't in any way responsible for issues or technical problems on your side. IF you want to have a customer support BUY that damned stuff or ask in the appropriate Forums. It isn't very nice from you posting such demanding comments on a sharing site.

Hey, calm down sir. I'm just kindly asking if either mr. platense or someone else is aware of a fix to a certain problem that seems to appear for all of these and recent releases and which I haven't been able to find any issues on in any forums, though the problem seems way too obvious to go unnoticed over several releases.

You can either chose to read it as demanding, or you can read what I clearly stated as not being unthankful, but rather as a hint that this release in worst case might have some issues that could affect others as well, and why should'nt it be stated, or maybe there is something wrong with my setup, and a bit of help is very apreciated, from anyone kindly willing to. Also I am aware that mr. platense is not further away, that a response on a kind manner is not an unthankful expectation as seen before.

The demanding part is how you have chosen to read it.

Would'nt you be happy if someone made you aware of a problem with one of your releases? And even more if it turned out to be fixable?

Yes Kook, the guy is only asking for help, so there's no reason to get mad.

Perhaps he could have directed it towards the community in general, rather than at the releaser.
Evidently his first comment could easily be misunderstood and thus cause friction with crackers/releasers.
