1) is it possible to have it side by side with Microtonic 2 ?

2) backward compatibility ? because VST file name is the same.

3) can it read v2 presets for both patches and single instruments ?

fxp from 3.3.4 opened in 3.1.0 and scripts with the .pika format also work. perhaps it would be possible to make .mtscript scripts work too, there’s just no button. you can safely return to the old version if something goes wrong. you will only lose beatspace and skins

I think you can rename it, but it doesn't make sense. just go back to the old one if there are problems. patches will work the same without changes, even in projects after backup. I also made myself a black skin on 3.1.0, https://dropmefiles.com/rSrAH if someone really needs it. it looks like the one in the screenshot in this post, but with a custom sequencer (I made it the best) I'll try to transfer it to the new version later

usually the identity of a vst is based off of an ID #, so the name of the file is less relevant for trying to load separate versions

Holy smokes, wasn't expecting this.. but was hoping for this for a while now. I like that it's skinable now (older version here was not - or at least didn't have addon for that). Here's hoping that it works without issues.

The supplier told me that he has already fixed Synplant 2 and I am waiting for a link from him. After I hard test the fix for a couple of days and if everything is fine, I will post it again

Nice share. Definitely long sought after.

One issue I have personally come across, when trying to transfer from Microtonic to Teenage Engineering PO-32, it doesn't work. It asks to register (and pressing yes, while offline does nothing) What should happen, there's a static type sound and it transfers the data to the PO-32 Tonic. Very small issue but an issue none the less.
