Thank you so much for putting this guide together!

While I haven't gotten around to installing and using this on my PC yet, I have read through the Windows instruction files. Is there an option to use the "6 sources" via "best quality" (ft)?

I did not see that as an option in the instructions...or is best quality already being using when choosing "6 sources"? Thanks!

Unfortunately, you have to choose between 6 sources or greater quality, at this time.
Keep in mind that the 6 sources model is experimental. And they even say that the piano stem, more often than not, sucks

The command should install git automatically. Anyway, the "conda install git" should do the trick.

EDIT, hey mate, its really not working here. I get multiple errors.
First, on your install ''python.exe -m pip uninstall torch torchaudio''
I get this message:
WARNING: Skipping torch as it is not installed.
WARNING: Skipping torchaudio as it is not installed.

Then, continuing, at the command :
python.exe -m pip install -U git+https://github.com/facebookresearch/demucs#egg=demucs

I get :
ERROR: Error [WinError 2] The system cannot find the file specified while executing command git version
ERROR: Cannot find command 'git' - do you have 'git' installed and in your PATH?

I'm running Anaconda as an Admin so I dont know where to go from here.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to write this in the guide.
This command is for unistalling old torch version in your computer (if you played with Stable Diffusion or other AI). If you never had it installed, it is optional.

I get :

Basically ''ensemble mode'' works best, where you combine different algorithms, which is unique to UVR.

The higher the SDR rate, the better it performed.

Apparently its only available to remove vocals.

It shows why it errors: "You must select 2 or more models to ensemble."
Ensemble means you use multiple models, but you've selected only one.
To get more models, Click the Settings icon, left side of Start Processing.
Click Download Center, select the algorithm, and select a model from the dropdown. Hit the download icon.
Which ones to download? Check the leaderboard I refered to.

It's able to remove vocals, but also remove instruments, either acapella/instrumental or 4 or 5 stems output.

On Mac, you mean?
Demucs states that it needs, at least, Python 3.8.
Big Sur comes with Python 3.7.
Did you update your Python before or did it work anyway?

On Windows you have to go through the environment setup to use the GPU acceleration.

the one that runs on a GPU instead of a CPU?

if so, it has 5 times the size of the CPU version?

I didn't try the GUI version.
But this guide shows how to use GPU acceleration on Windows.
It is absolutely fantastic
12 seconds for a 5 minutes song (RTX 3060).

I don't get it...you have similar tools like the recent DeepAudio that weighs in at +-1,5GB and this supposedly does the same thing and is....10KB!?!

If you have demucs v4 installed, when you run the "demucs" command, it runs "htdemucs" by default.
If you want the better model run "demucs -n htdemucs_ft".
