Thank you for the post. First time install of Vital. I don't see any presets, probably because this is a bare bones early access. Do I need to download a previous version just to get some presets going (I know the free version doesn't have much) of is there access to presets in some other fashion ? I am only interested in Vital Audio native presets at this stage, not third-party.

Yeah, the free stable release of Vital is 1.0.8, and you have to sign up for a Vital account to get that- plus they will give you a free set of presets to get you started.

The 1.5.1 early access is for subscribers or users who paid for it outright only. Try installing the stable release first, create a Vital account, get your presets- then install this one over that. All your presets should still be in there- just to be on the safe side, disconnect internet when you install the update.

I've found plugins that use DX12 that don't work on Win7. Maybe DirectX11 is a misprint and it requires DX12. Dunno.

These were simply different package deals regarding presets & wavetables and the online aspect for a certain feature; the synth is the same, whatever deal you choose.
This Beta is only accessible if you have the subscription tier. I thought at first one had to have the Pro deal, but now it doesn't seem so.

v1.5.1 works fine on mine, but I checked the option to 'work in offline mode'. No crashes or issues, but on Windows 10 Pro, I've been using 1.0.8 fine, so I didn't anticipate any problems- and I do have a Vital account.

I love this Synth it's really powerful. Working like a charm in Monterrey 12.5 with Bitwig 4.3 & Studio One 5.5 of M1 native.

You can install this version first and select offline to use. Grab a free account and download the free presets. There are plenty of free presets in the community forum and discord and a there are few Cool ones available here on Oz.
