Introducing CRYSTAL CLEAR.

A dynamic enhancer that brings clarity and life to your music by reducing unwanted muddy frequencies, smoothing out peaks, while adding polish, sheen, and glue.

Crystal Clear can be used for mixing on individual tracks, groups, busses, and also for mastering.

Muddy frequencies are a major problem when producing music and they can ruin any mix if they are not removed or are removed incorrectly.

Crystal Clear solves this problem for you the correct way. With just a few mouse clicks you can now remove the cloud and fog from your mixes and masters with ease without losing the definition or character of the original sound.

Specifications Windows 64 bit vst plug-in

System Requirements Windows 7 or later

Compatible with Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio, Cubase, FL Studio, Logic Pro X, Presonus Studio One, Reaper.

The Problem Solver
MAG Signature Sound Crystal Clear is a dynamic enhancer that brings clarity and life to your music, solving the problem of muddy frequencies by removing them, smoothing out peaks, while adding polish, sheen, and glue.

It works by introducing dynamic Pultec style fixed frequency bands to boost and cut in the correct areas while adding subtle saturation and harmonics.

A totally transparent simple to use plug-in with a dramatic effect to make your music shine through.

It can be used on individual channels, groups, busses and for mastering purposes.

Take The Controls
1. Input: Increasing the auto gained compensated input will give your sounds added subtle harmonics at low values or crunchy rougher tones at higher values.

2. Crystal: This is where the magic happens. Increasing the crystal dial will clear those hard to tackle horrible problematic frequencies that cloud your music, and let what’s underneath shine through.

3. Sheen: Increasing the sheen will add subtle saturation and cohesion to your sounds, giving more gloss and glue to your individual tracks, groups or masters.

4. HPF: Increasing the HPF will add a smooth high pass filter up to 360hz, to get rid of unwanted low frequencies.

5. Mix: Altering the mix dial will blend the wet and dry signal. Making it easy to get the perfect balance of Crystal Clear applied to your music.

6. Output: Increases or lowers the overall volume of the plugin.

7. Oversampling: Engaging the oversampling increases the sound quality to a higher resolution and will give smoother results at an oversampling rate of 4x.

8. Bypass: Use the bypass to easily A/B what difference Crystal Clear is making to your sound.

How much latency does it create ?

I've just tested it on FL Studio 20.9 x64, no latency

I thought I recognized those curves... this is just Analog Obsession's ReLife plug-in (with an added low pass filter). Why would anyone spend £25 on this plug-in when you can get it for free?

This plug-in and ReLife almost perfectly cancels each other out when testing them (except for some low rumble below 20Hz). If ReLife had a low pass filter they would be 100% identical. Smells like a scam.

youre sure the free plugin is going to be better than this one? have you done a shootout yet?

Yes. Like I said: the only difference with Crystal Clear is that they have added a low-pass filter and changed the GUI. Other than that, they are identical. With that I mean that it's the exact same code, character for character. Try it yourself.

I dropped a review about it on the product page, but since the reviews there look more like something that the site owners themselves have added, I doubt that my 1 star review will ever see the light of day. Just another reason as to why you should avoid this company like the plague.

To be honest, this is a bit shocking to me. Unless the two companies are emulating the same hardware, this is outright plagiarism. Same concept, same frequency curve, same technical algorithm

ReLife is not emulating any specific hardware afaik. Either Mag Signature Sound has decompiled ReLife and somehow and gotten hold of the code that way, or more likely - Tunca from AA has made Crystal Clear for them. If it is the latter then it should be made clear on the product page that the code is not completely original, and that the plug-in is a collaboration.

However... the plug-in market (and especially the sample library market) is basically a wild-west for people who plagiarize others work, and other shady business practices, so you have to be careful with who you buy products from.

Totally agreed with you , almost perfect concellation at the same values (you just can hear the 10Hz Lopass by default in Crystal Clear). I mean, it doesn't look like a scam, it is one : there's no other way to call selling 25€ a free plugin just by changing its GUI and adding a lopass!

Just noticed that this plug-in was released 6-7 months ago, pretty much at the same time as ReLife was released (just 4-5 days difference), so it could be that Tunca made this plug-in for MAG and then decided to release a version of it under his own name

I was under the impression that this plug-in was released a couple of days ago, which would have made it a different story. Still pretty shady of Tunca to release a paid plug-in through another company without it being an original product.
