Yes. 6.6beta was an attempt to fix a arp/sync bug and they didn't update it, so update not finished and it changes nothing, useless. 6.5 works better.

Not (yet).
Only B, C, and its revisions like Virus Classic, rack XL etc. People say all works fine. Didn't try, only B and C standard roms.
But TI banks works fine, except maybe supersaw/hypersaw etc, so it will not be opened fully. Silence, or partial presets, maybe some of TI presets work fully. So, use old banks to open them perfectly

just put the files into the VST(i) folder of your choice (where all you regular ones are)

drag the "DSP56300Emu." and a rom (+ Bank) into your VST/AU folder
(same space important)

you CAN create differenet folders with different roms and DSP56300Emu.
so you can load (test) them individually

yup. all the TI banks will work. some patches in the banks will not work, because of the patch architecture. They were made for the parameters of another synth. Some work and are not "perfect" copies.

but they all work. and the CPU use reduction is amazing in this one new build. before I could make and export loops fine, but now it is smoothly playable! I can make custom patches with the TI2/virus control, and then move them to the plugin in about a minute. it is wicked :)

- Insert the plug into the plug folder (in my case DSP56300Emu.component, I use Logic)
- Drag one of the ROMs (the ones with .bin at the end) into the AU/VST plugs folder
- Run your DAW. If Logic doesn't see the plug click Reset & Rescan (in Plugin Manager) or DeepCodesign it
IMP.: In the host you'll see the plug under 'The Usual Suspects'.

No need. Plugin + rom and you get all that virus sound, 1:1 identical, as hardware. Try Rom C 6.5 if you have very powerful cpu. B rom is for weaker cpus and for more instances per project.

Usually, pads, leads, chord playing, complex sounds, fast arps are cpu killing. Some fx sounds maybe. Basses usually are no cpu killing. Couple of such updates with cpu performance and it will be good for weaker cpus.
