I'm very thankful for the scene and VR to provide this as a bundle.

But.

If you are a legit Studio One user, which comes with Melodyne included, the inability to switch out Melodyne from this bundle's install package means this package trashes legit Studio One Melodyne installs.

Tick boxes in the install would be welcome.

I can imagine ways to overcome this issue. Rename the preset/application folder (renaming or deleting after the install to use whatever preset/application folder you prefer) and either move the vts/vst3/aax from wherever you install your plugins or have this package install to a different location and manually deal with the files afterward.

Hi Odious Blot,

These are all good suggestions, but the problem is that the linkage between S1 and Melodyne occurs at the ARA level and loading a hokey Melodyne either results in an authentication attempt or a lockout of the ARA subsystem in S1. There is some kind of shared authentication between the two, even to the point that Melodyne gets locked out if you're not using the very, very latest approved version.

Now, I'm not losing the benefits of having a legit S1 version for the sake of loading a version of Melodyne that delivers features I just won't ever use over the essentials version. But it does mean I can't get the other great features of the bundle, even as a try before, because I can't switch out Melodyne install.

I don't know what the ARA level is but I still wonder if you rename things before you install this package then delete the files it installs (for Melodyne) then rename your original file ... will this break the authentication you're talking about?

For instance, rename Melodyne.vst3 to Melodyne-OLD-.vst3 (do something similar for the presets and program folders that are installed) - Then install this bundle, delete the new melodyne.vst3 that it installs, delete any folders it installs specifically for melodyne then re-rename your old folders and plugin files back to Melodyne.vst3. Now you should have all of the stuff you want from this bundle and only your original, ARA level approved Melodyne files and folders. Renaming a file "shouldn't" break that authentication as it hasn't altered the file's code in any substantial way. I guess what this method doesn't get you is the full version of Melodyne. But if what you want is just everything else than this should work?

Anyways, if that doesn't work all of the single plugins from this are available right under our noses pretty much :)

It would cause less confusion if the rar file for the Rev2 release differed from the previously shared versions.
Right now only the size differs that doesn't help.

I am working with Reason 12 and wondering why Vocal Synth Pro ist not available. I checked the vstplugings folder and the dlls are there, but in Reason I can't access Vocal Synth.

Does it work in other DAWS?

Guys! Recently Ive been hacked (lost my gmail account) via some Mastering the mix bundle vst from some russian gruop. In fact, the hacker changed all of my personal info with russian info... so I'm a little bit paranoid. I downloaded this iZotope Suite Pro 2021 and it's in russian so Im afraid of installing it. Can I have some confirmation that my new google account won't be gathering people at Instagram or posting Sh*t agains some political party?

Here, you can check where things come from:
Poster: hidera. Profile info: Status contributor . Number of posts 3175 . Never a problem with virus or hack.
Cracker: VR . Many years cracking and known. Never a problem with virus or hack.

So once checked that, I think you are safe.
