Works (APP, AU & VST) for Mojave but doesn't rescan Factory/User library (Edit/Preferences).

Doesn't load "Battery Now Library".

I deleted /Users/<my user>/Library/Applicaion Support/Native Instruments/Battery 4 for init library and now i don't see user library.

Can you test (fix) rescan Factory/User library option ?

try downloading and installing the Battery 4 Factory Library released by R2R on this site first, then you create a "com.native-instruments.Battery 4 Factory Library.plist" file (if installation fails) which contains the following:

I had installed your release over 4.1.6 versión and R2R Factory content 1.1.0 and the com.native-instruments.Battery 4 Factory Library.plist was in /Library/Preferences.

When add a new content, doesn't rescan.

If i remove /Users/<my user>/Library/Applicaion Support/Native Instruments/Battery 4 for init library (force scan), i can see all factory and official expansions already installed, i can' t see any user content and i can't add new content (expansions or user content)

Restore 4.1.6 and all work fine again (factory 1.1.0, official expansions a user content).

I keep testing. Thank you for your support !!!

try checking on “Battery 4 > Preferences > Library” menu, whether your user contents is added.

Can't find a way to scan the library. I installed the v1.1, but I shows an error at the end of install. So, when I open Battery and go to Preferences/Library the factory directory is empty and I can rescan, though all the files seem to be in the right folder. Any hints? I tried to follow your instructions here, but I don't know how to make a .plist file, TBH.

On M1 Mac Big Sur and Logic 10.7.2 I see the AU validated in Plug-in Manager but it refuses to be found in the Native Instruments list to be instantiated. The Standalone is fine, but the AU just can't be loaded into any instrument slot. Any help please?

I tried sudo chmod +x on the .component but nothing changed....

Sadly it didn't work, restarted, opened Logic in Rosetta, still not showing up in the Native Instruments list for the instrument slot. Your Massive / X and Maschine 2 all worked fine.

EDIT: I had to do this;

1. Delete these:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.AUHostingService.x86-64.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.InfoHelper
~/Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.audio.AUHostingService.x86-64
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.audio.InfoHelper
2. Restart Logic

Only then would Battery 4 appear in the Native Instruments list in "AU Instruments"

Hi guys!
I just solved the problem of Battery4 not working!
First, install it the same way and open the terminal.

And enter what I wrote down below.

sudo chmod +x /Applications/Native\ Instruments/Battery\ 4/Battery\ 4.app/Contents/MacOS/Battery\ 4

sudo chmod +x /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Battery\ 4.component/Contents/MacOS/Battery\ 4

sudo chmod +x /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Battery\ 4.component/Contents/PkgInfo

sudo chmod +x /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Battery\ 4.component/Contents/_CodeSignature/CodeResources

sudo chmod +x /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Battery\ 4.vst/Contents/MacOS/Battery\ 4

sudo chmod +x /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Battery\ 4.vst/Contents/PkgInfo

sudo chmod +x /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Battery\ 4.vst/Contents/_CodeSignature/CodeResources

And go into all the addresses you see in that command and let them execute them once in a while.

Then it'll work!
