Kind of my point before i saw your comment, i mean why bother when there is already a proper release?

Thanks for your releases. MORia may not be perfect but I see he cares about other poor musicians using Apple computers . Thank you to R2R also who just throws some tiny noodles to Mac people. Many serious music people use Macs . Also Apple Silicon computers are great.

R2R release is different as it uses a keygen. What are you pretending by doing this Sunny?

It seems that some people here think there are too much people cracking for Mac...

Stop attacking Mac crackers.

This release is nice because there is just install and done no Keygen involved or anything

Can anyone explain - is there any point having this if you don't have the specific mic to calibrate?
  Resident 27.10.2011 318
Wondering that myself.. I bought Sonarworks Reference that came with it's own calibrated mic. Wonder if that would work? I must say... using the Sonarworks system has totally changed the accuracy of my home studio. I've heard great things about ARC as well.

You can use any Mic. If you have a calibration file, you can import it too.

How about the Dubler mic? You said "any". but that one is probably a bad idea?
probably. :)

Not true. The whole point of this software is to get a flatter mix curve by measuring your mixing environment. You should use a proper measurement microphone that's intended for this type of application.

Edit: Suprised to not see any comments about the room analysis file not showing up. To save someone else some time, here's what you should do before you start the scan. Make sure ARC has access to files and folders. Specifically to documents. Manually create the following file path before you do the scan:

HD://Documents/IK Multimedia/ARC System 3/AnalysisResults

Final thoughts: I used the ARC mic from IK. The measurements were good but the monitoring/ playback is where this system is flawed compared to Sonarworks. Sonarworks systemwide audio intercepts the audio at the system level compared to IK multimedia being a plugin on the master out. Yes, you could use another program to put plugins on your system audio outputs but if you're a true audio professional, you will use Sonarworks. They simply have put the most thought and development into this type of application IMO>
Fck a genre..

Versión 3 specifies you can use any microphones are 2 cheap ones avaliable @ Thomann 1. Behringer ECM8000 and 1 Superlux ECM999???
Thenittle more expensive is. Sonarworks SoundID Ref Measurement Micro that would work with : Sonarworks Reference 4 Studio.Edition v4.4.7 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R SO What would you advice? I confess I've never ever used such a system and I d like to Use it now

Grateful for the upload, for me this software is a pain in the butt - it always opens even when you don't want to use it.
  Resident 23.12.2009 2 1356
? which opens ?
  Member 20.11.2020 132
ARC opens every time I start up Logic.
  Resident 23.12.2009 2 1356
