THE OSCILLATORS
At the heart of MASSIVE X you’ll find the completely new oscillator section – capable of producing more variation than some entire synths, right at the source. Choose from over 170 wavetables and 10 different modes of reading them – from the aggressive Gorilla family, to a wavetable-bending mode, Hardsync, Formant, and many more – each with their own unique sub-modes and additional controls. Dial in two phase-modulation oscillators to inject extra movement into the main oscillators.

ROUTING REIMAGINED
Connect any output to any input, and see what happens. The intuitive routing setup lets you essentially rewire parts of MASSIVE X, meaning you can bypass, feedback, and send audio any way you like. It’s also possible to route modulators as audio sources to excite elements such as the comb filter.

PERFORMERS: MADE TO MODULATE
Draw precise patterns of modulation in the Performer section, and assign them to parameters for complex, evolving patches, or for controlled changes to your sound. You can then use the Remote Octave control to trigger them on your keyboard, meaning you get truly playable modulation and huge expressive variety within a single patch.

Try to find a Bass sound under all the expansions or a Synth sound... This VSTi has no Tags to quickly find specific types of presets....
The presets just do not have any sign what kind of sound it is..
Once i found a preset i like i cant even set it to Favorite... nothing..
I have to write down the presets i like to a paper with a pen like 1990...

...and that's it with massive development. someone close to ni said on kvr I think, that the synth was made by a 3rd party coder and the revenue does not justify further development.

Preset system awful. All NI synth if close interface and reopen browser reset to first preset. This is huge bug for me.

apart from the shitty librarian/browser which I believe is forcing user to work in the NI ecosystem (get the hardware, Maschine etc.) for preset browsing, this is easily the most powerful synthesizer by NI and never meant to be easy to use nor user friendly.

just reinstall the .dll can easily google the dll name and redownload from Microsoft official page.

Are you on Windows 11 as well ?

Hi Folks, i had the same problem and all my dll doesnt work anymore. Try to reinstall "VC_redist.x64" and, or "VC_redist.x86", it dipends on your system:

Ye, same here. Never used MassiveX before, a minute ago I tried it and now I'm going to uninstall it. Waiting for a "quick" preset scan on every start makes this plugin unusable for me.

And please V.R:
add a simple checkbox on the components page for the users to let them decide wether they want to install the crappy vcredist package or not. Most users have it installed already and the automated/forced installation causes "Massive" (lol, linguistic joke) problems as you can read in all of your recent releases... I hope it's not just because 'fastcopy' requires it.

i repacked the full thing with the originals setup. ( 1,05Gb)

all is ok. it load all without any trouble and only make one scan at the first opening.
have a look on wix.

the VR installer fail at the end on a redistribuable package never ending. it need to stop the process manually.
