Sounds good, does it eliminate having a third party Firewall?
Or do we still need that third party Firewall?

3rd paty as in network hardware firewall? This will always be required, you must still have a firewall at the edge of your network/between your home network and the internet.

this is the third-party firewall, IF you eneable it to work as behavioral firewall;
great thing is, it doesn't need any Windows firewall components, so it works on LTSC/LITE/Enterprise builds of Windows too

Windows 10 Firewall Control it's still better than this.

windows firewall doesnt have control and shows you the ip adress and it does not ask you if the ip should be blocked, so in fact its better for the purpose of inspecting something.

i keep windows firewall still on.
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

Apples and oranges. This is to set limits and monitor up and down rates of data.

Simplewall is the best firewall solution when it comes to firewalls. It's also Open Source. Windows 10 Firewall Control depends on Windows Firewall which can be easily bypassed by malwares/scripts.

i have been using this for years, it is excellent... It is a proper application level firewall, that also has limiting and normal firewall port/ip blocking etc... remember to block locktime' website also ;-)

This way better than the ms firewall and compares to opensnitch and littlesnitch running on my mac and linux work laptop.

This is an excellent firewall. I suggest you go to the "Network List" tab right away. Figure out what Wifi/Ethernet port that you are using. Set blocker in and out to "ASK". It is the fastest way to start letting help you setup rules. It will be popping up notifications quite a bit and you set it as you want. I disable Widows firewall right away. I do run FreeFirewall donationware along with it. This firewall does not contain ADs and is made to run alongside another firewall. Why? It allows you to block specific sites by IP, name, or domain They work together very well with my VPN

Will be interesting to see how I get on with *this* compared to Malwarebytes WFC w/ Windows firewall.

Love this thing, thanks!

I also love it. I kind of don't like running two firewalls simultaneously -- it makes it a bit hard to chase down errors -- but the advantages this offers make it worth persevering with, for the moment at least.

(Also running Malwarebytes WFC)

If anyone has Glasswire, how does this compare to it? Should I stick with Glasswire or does this have more flexibility and control over the rules?
