SketchCassette II supports the following formats and operating systems:

Windows 7 or later – VST3 and AAX at 64-bit

macOS 10.10 Yosemite through macOS 11 Big Sur – Intel or Apple Silicon – AU, VST3, and AAX at 64-bit

To install SketchCassette II onto your computer, simply run the installer package for your OS.

Restart your digital audio workstation before loading in the plugin to a project. On macOS, you may need to restart your computer for new plugins to appear in some hosts.

2.0 update adds the following features:

9 new tape profiles for a total of 12, 4 for each tape type over a range of cassette quality
Extended Wow and Flutter section with many new features including 2 new wow LFO shapes (rounded saw, inverse rounded saw), Wow and Flutter Rate Tempo syncing, a new FM mode where the Wow modulates the rate of the flutter, and a Flanging control
Mix section with individual Dry / Wet knobs for the Tape Profiling and the NR Comp

There's something amazing about modern audio in that we're now emulating the cheapest and "worst" technology of the past. But it all gives these specific colors to the sound. I just find it funny because it shows how subjective good audio is.

I find this to be an essential plugin.

May be my personal favorite of all time. Will def buy and would like to ask designer what exactly the signal chain is that defines, "Sketch Cassette."
