I Love It !! K1 was my first multitimbric synt. This vst sounds exactly the same. Thanks!

After playing for a while I noticed that the only thing missing to be an exact replica would be the "MULTI" function to mix singles or make keyboard splits.

anyway excellent VSTi

Damn! As Kawai is probably never going to make a virtual version of any of their synths, ala Korg and Roland, I hope somebody, whether it's this guy or Arturia or whoever, gets around to making a virtual K4. I have a few sample libraries, but none of them really come close to the real thing. And that this sounds as good as it does gives me hope that a decent virtual K4 (with maybe a Mac version) can happen one day.

Fantastic vsti.
I use one these keyboards at college circa 1989, quirky little keyboard but had some great sounds.
Visit the guys website and buy him a coffee as he deserves it for replicating this

Owned one of these with a Kawai SQ-80 sequencer as a mate.
The sequencer had a 3.5" floppy drive to store sequence data.
I remember being excited about the concept of data storage on a floppy drive instead of data cassette.
You had to spend hours getting the audio levels just right for hardware to decipher the cassette tape data.
No problem with the disks. Man, those were the days...
I miss the old days when you could just plug in and play.

This is currently being actively developed, so check up his website from time to time for newer, less buggy versions.

Kawai has produced some really great synths at the time, especially K5000, K1, K4, and R50 and R100 rhythm machines that sound so good for old skool industrial. :P
