this is my first real post around here, so I hope I made it right.
I want to introduce you to my customized IR library that contains 659 IR & ER samples with total size about 331MB. It contains IRs from several Kontakt libraries and also some 24/96, 32/44 and surround reverbs which are very hard to find.
It was made for several reasons:
1. Altiverb is sometimes not the best choice - with 12+ instances consumes a lot of CPU resources
2. Some libraries contains really great IRs, but you need to download the entire library to get them.
3. Kontakt has a lot of great built-in IRs, but they're encrypted in K4IR.nkx file stored (on Windows) in Common Files\Native Instruments. The goal of this library is to make those IRs available outside Kontakt.
4. Most libraries are not software independent. They'll generally work only with specified software (like Altiverb or Waves IRx). This library will be always in WAV format to ensure maximum compatibility.
5. I didn't find any suitable software independent library on the net, that can be used in any situation. There are usually some, but they are very small (10 IRs) and sometimes only in limited resolution.

- 4 Waves IRx responses (Belle Meade, Spa Pavillon, Zipper Concert, Zipper Hall) in 32/96 surround (mono to 5.1 combinations)
Size of the update: 153MB uncompressed, 122MB compressed
New IR count: 179
After a long period of time spent in front of PC, trying to "crack" K4IR file, I've discovered a backdoor way how to obtain those IRs. And I've succeeded, that means K4IR is finally opened. In this update I've included only Real Rooms 32/44 package, because extraction from K4IR is on file-by-file basis. Hence it would take more time to extract all the IRs contained there, but I don't think it's necessary. Nevertheless I've included K4IR_filelist.txt, where you can find all the filenames. If you want one particular, write me PM.
