Johnson, the EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA is the most awarded orchestral collection ever, and the only orchestral collection to be recorded in a "state of the art" concert hall where orchestras mainly perform.

Orginally created as VST "independent but compatible with Kontakt" via NKS files, Kompakt/Inkakt versions give pass to a full Kontakt based library. Oldies but goldies. With its 83.4 GB and all sections: Brass, Strings, Woodwinds and Percussion, you have the full orchestra in only one library. Other versions from this library appear on Kontakt tab but they are not loadable into the GUI. Here is the full Kontakt version.

Yeah, the is refreshing, looking at it I feel like I'm young again.
And I remember having downloaded the VSL stuff, too, that was over 100GB. I can't even believe that I did that with much slower internet connection.
VSL from that versions (giga ported to Kontakt with no script) is not useful anymore.
This EWQL SO still can be good for some. I just don't know if you compare it with The Orchestra or some similarly fit size orchestral library.

EWQL SO had issue when trying to add it in recent Kontakts on mac, perhaps with KiTTY's script it works again (?)

Funny how back then a 20 GB library seemed Excessive..

But now the full wandanga in 80 GB looks like a good deal,
compared to modern +150GB single libraries..

Too bad the EWQL Hollywood stuff cannot? be uncanned..

in video tutorial there is no Kontakt GUI showing: why is that?
I also notice the extension are .ewi: is that a Kontakt friendly file?

Tutorial is taken from Kompakt version (2008. Yes, 2008). This is Kontakt version because there is not a tutorial about this version. My version.

No .ewi extensions.

It's the "newer" EWQL Hollywood stuff which cannot be uncanned..

It´s Kontakt version taken from Kompakt version partially working in Kontakt.

Never was cracked Platinum Complete version (194 GB). This is Platinum Edition (117 GB).

To the best of my knowledge, "Quantum Leap" is just a prefix used by East West for their libraries. The Hollywood Orchestra is also named "East West Quantum Leap Hollywood Orchestra".

I'm quite confused. Is this a repack of old Kompakt/Kontakt version SO Platinum + SO Platinum Pro XP, or a conversion of PLAY version Platinum Edition for Kontakt?

The old Kompakt/Kontakt Platinum Edition is 65GB and Platinum + Pro XP is about 138GB.(I found this information on the official comparison chart pdf file which I've downloaded long ago).

The PLAY version Platinum Edition Complete which has all sounds of old Platinum and Pro XP samples is 117GB(You can check it on the official website now).

The uploader mentioned 'original disk space(117GB)' in the original post so I thought this is a conversion of PLAY version for Kontakt, but reading his comments it seems he is saying this is from old Kompakt/Kontakt version.
