Johnson, the EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA is the most awarded orchestral collection ever, and the only orchestral collection to be recorded in a "state of the art" concert hall where orchestras mainly perform.

Orginally created as VST "independent but compatible with Kontakt" via NKS files, Kompakt/Inkakt versions give pass to a full Kontakt based library. Oldies but goldies. With its 83.4 GB and all sections: Brass, Strings, Woodwinds and Percussion, you have the full orchestra in only one library. Other versions from this library appear on Kontakt tab but they are not loadable into the GUI. Here is the full Kontakt version.

Great Upload, thanks a lot. But now how does this work ? When I open an instrument in Kontakt 6.5 I do not get any sort of a UI as in the video tutorial but only a minimal entry as in the case of free loop collections I load from the quickload. I feel, I am missing something I cannot even name.

It's the very old East West Orchestra from a time when there was no Gui. In the Video there is the "Play version" to be seen which is the newer East West exclusive player.
Kontakt uses lossless compression for the samples which might explain the smaller size.

What i'm still wondering is if the Pro XP Platinum updates are also inclueded that have been released very late in the livecycle of the kontakt Quantum Leap Edition

Maybe I'm wrong, I hope to have True Legatos, or a kind of simulation in Kontakt.
It's unfortunate that "East West Symphonic Orchestra" did something so extraordinary, without perfect legato, only simulation inside the original 'Eastwest Aparatus'. Eastwest's samples are perfect, magnificent, but, lack on real legatos, anyone who has heard a real symphony orchestra, whether classical music for cinema, hears all those pletora of natural legatos. But, when we listen to Eastwest outside the original "East­West Sym­phonic Orchestra Plat Plus, it's a sin, it's throwing our demos in the trash, maybe it works as a prototype of what the real orchestra will play for our final audio, since, there's no way to deliver a final work with "East West Symphonic Orchestra".

the original was updated with XP PRO presets and samples addon expansions.

using a 32 bit Impakt player adding effects, delay, chorus, eq, reverb.
the effects are dry in kontakt. this is the difference, it will only play dry samples presets.

the original installers are made for windows xp and use a keygen registration. and obsolete windows drivers.

nothing to see with the play edition, 64 bit, reboxed and using the cloud.

Which version of Kontakt do I need?

Do I need an older version or can I load it up and use it in
one of the newer versions?

What's the installation routine I need to follow to make it work?

One question; This is the Kompakt version of EWQLSO right?

So does it lack anything from the Play version of EWQLSO??
Any instruments or any articulations,
or its totally the same?

Isn't this the kompakt version just made compatible to kontakt since they are similar.

The real thing I wanna know is that is this version missing any articulations or instruments from the Play version (latest one) of EWQLSO?
