Modern film score relies heavily on synthesizers to accompany and reinforce the sections of the orchestra, yet rarely do those synth tones experience the sonic benefit of being recorded in the same acoustic space. Classic mono synths offer a richness in plangency and punch, while lacking a degree of flexibility and recall ability. Modern soft synths have seemingly limitless features but fall short sonically when compared with their older analogue counterparts. Our goal was to take the best aspects of the old and the new, craft tones specifically designed for film score production and orchestral compositions, immerse that in a lush acoustic environment, and create something that simply hadn't existed until now. We are incredibly proud to announce our first product and a new benchmark in synthesizer sample libraries -- Scoring Synths.

Removed duplicates
Removed 6 Microphone Positions (Unnecessary)
The external interface has been changed
Added Delay effect with the ability to adjust
Added Reverb effect with ability to adjust
The modwheel works like all other functions.
All samples are added to containers.
Improved location of internal documents (All this was scattered and duplicated)
Batch reSave was made several times for sure!

Does all the "changes" you made bring this from the (75 giger) to just 5 Gb? If so, that is a lot of bloat and not really making things as clean and compact as possible.

I think it's a better idea for users to decide if they want the library as well. But imagine a Kontakt with all the Kontakt libraries ever made included with it. There would surely be a lot of dross to get rid of, but I wouldn't strip it clean LOL.
When I get this one, I'll be able to create something

That would be a nightmare. 100 TB mixed between WAV and NCW samples. Do you imagine a batch compression? We could go on holidays for one year and pay a big data to store 50 trillion of ncw files

is this library even useful? I can't seem to understand its point..its purpose.. I mean there's absolutely nothing here that omnisphere can't do easily. If i'm mistaken please do enlighten me...

He can't... because Kontakt is not a synth... it's a sampler.

Omnisphere is one of the (if not THE) best virtual synths ever made... 'nuff said.

my hd thanks you for this imac-ruslan! i hate when lib makers put a ton of redundant files in there just to make it seem BIG and BETTER. ugh. any producer worth their salt doesn't need a bunch of "baked in reverbs and cabs" or extra nonsense when we have all the great plugins to add and tweak those subtle effects ourselves... just give us the dry and call it a day!

Just saw the original library is like 70GB. Not an orchestral library so my guess is whatever was removed isn't trully vital for the library to keep working perfect

This is so interesting to me since I was thinking of doing this kinda repack the other day. It was obvious that they've made a library full of bloat and non-sense.

Even the redacted version of this library has me scratching my head. I really gave this one a go but I just dont get it. Multi positioned microphones? Yeah great, Re-amped in a studio ect..? OK. The interface is light and not too flexible, compared to the possibilities of similar options in something like Omnisphere, this Library leaves me cold

Wow this really shows how the manufacturers ride the hype of "BIgger is better". Even myself, when I saw the original 75GB!, the first thought is automatiaclly OH WOW this must be super amazing awesome!!! And if you first would see 4,9GB, the first thought would be "Meh, this is tiny, can't be that good" Now it is proven they simply artifically inflate it to seem bigger.

I think the whole point of this 70GB library was to capture these synths in an acoustic environment which is something no other developer ever did before. So the different mic positions ARE necessary and thus the 70GB space IS also justifiable for a good reason.

If that's not what you're looking for (an organic/acoustic synth sound) then I don't see the point of complaining about the inevitable huge size of this library, nor do I see the point of even downloading it as a 4GB cut version specially that there are plenty of pure synths libraries existing out there already.

The reason that no other developer have done this before is simply because it's the dumbest idea ever!
There's nothing in this library that can't be replicated with IRs and quality reverbs.
Even if all the bullshit claims they made is true, you still aren't going to hear those subtle differences in a busy mix, which means 90% of cinematic music.

They were looking for an excuse to sell "yet another Moog sample CD".
The developer is a fraud but sadly we're living in an age where frauds are more successful than the real ones because of all the bullshit marketing they practice.

No one has really needed to, since anyone can re-create the same sound with convolution reverbs (impulse responses and environments of your choice)... which I do all the time with all my synths (both hardware and software).

EGG-Xactly!! (See above!!) This entire library is a huge waste of hard disk space!!! (big or small)...
