The factory library 2 only has an "Acoustic" folder and none of the regular stuff.

Thats true... Only Acoustic folder and doesnt work for me on K7 or K6 portable. Library installed but got msg that library isnt installed.

Just installed it to "Shared" folder. I also added the library using Kontakt 5 app. I also did the kittyscript https://audioz.download/software/mac/190157-download_free-kontakt-library-scripts-kitty.html

I don't know exactly what made it work, because at first it did not. But I'm sure if you mess with these it will work.

EDIT- Installed it again on another mac without doing the Kontakt 5 or Kittyscript thing and all worked fine. I even installed it to a different location.

There is no such thing as a library that can't be used in K6, even if the right tools are necessary to use - so I strongly suspect so, and if not, will look into it because I am keeping the K6 .dll for JBridge to Cubase 5. So if you're asking should you download it now? Ehhhh - that's up to you, but I lean on the yes side.

Need to confirm and I can't update to 7 just yet, I use Kontakt 6 a lot in more than 100 of my projects and clients. So, kinda need to be a little careful, especially the factory library, strangely I like them for quick sound of stuff because its simple nature. Will try the 37GB once hidera wake up and post them.

Maybe I'm understanding you wrong, but you can install Kontakt 6 and 7 independently. K7 doesn't overwrites K6.
