@thereal_adrianr is back with a huge ass old school sample pack with over 700 MB of samples & loop chops. All together he pulled 107 chops from 71 different rare samples. These are great for making sampled beats or you can them to build melodies and drums around, then get rid of the sample once it sounds full enough.

I know Alchemist has mentioned how he grabs vinyl and doesn't even always use them, he just grabs ideas from them and tries to make something that has that same vibe. I do that, as well as gearing the mix in the same direction as the album the cuts are from. I like chopping up and layering stuff as much as anyone, but I almost always would rather be playing an instrument. I usually just end up throwing some random cuts/stabs down, throw the blueprints (not the KRS-One album,) out the window and start smashing around The Lab, intent on making my instruments and 16 create those old head-nod vibes.
