REQ: Cinematic Composing Essential Composing Foundation

ECF is designed to give ‘absolutely anybody’ the skills to get started in their journey into the amazing world of cinematic composing. It doesn't matter how inexperienced you may be. This course will give you everything you need to ‘level you up’ on a whole range of essential skills and get you composing straight away. It’s also a great launchpad into a range of more advanced courses we offer.

You’ll master the basics of music theory and how to create amazing melodies and engaging harmonies so you can connect with and captivate your listener.

You’ll learn how to embellish your ideas without drowning them in clutter or turning them into a muddy mess.

You’ll discover what sample libraries to select for rapid composing and how to set them up in your DAW (sequencer) and how to arrange a template so your system is ready and responsive whenever you have a musical idea to follow.

And finally, you’ll understand the 3 musical forces and how important they are in helping you write interesting and compelling musical cues.
