This massive expansion pack offers 2,515 * presets for Steinbergās Padshop and Padshop Pro VST granular synthesizers. With 683 manipulated stereo samples, this large all-in-one sound set provides an epic solution for film and video game projects.
Designed by composer and producer, Gary Gibbons, at the Professional Music Foundry recording facility in Hong Kong, this sound set demonstrates the power of the Padshop audio engine.
With almost 2 years of production, Granular Sound Designer Pro is the largest expansion pack ever produced with over 2,515 presets. We tracked stringed acoustic instruments, electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitar, a guzheng, several marimbas, pitch pipes, a Cantonese female vocalist and much more at our studio, āProfessional Music Foundryā and at a Hong Kong music department. We also sampled our existing OMF collection of presets, then layered and edited.
The original goal was to offer a pack that could be used solely for sound design. But after creating synth pads, vocal, chromatic and guitar presets we decided to add it to the pack for music creation. In the end this expansion pack turned out to be an all-in-one solution.
