The first half of the exercises in this masterclass will be based around a clean tone focussing on rhythm with accents, muting, triplets, octave playing and timing are covered. The second half switches to a crunch sound and covers pick muting, alternate picking, pentatonic playing and more!
After you’ve got it all dialled in with the exercises, Brian has laid out some licks played fast and slow that you will need to study and slowly work on. These cover an array of important techniques and put them all into the context of musical ideas!
Last up comes the full solo - can you put it all together and master this final challenge? We’ve given you everything you need to study in order to master this awesome solo such as video, audio, backings and TAB/Notation and once you can nail it, you’ll be ready to move on to the intermediate volume (coming soon!). This features mountains of cool ideas and licks that you can also implement into your own guitar solos!
