The V76 preamp was designed with nearly unlimited funding from the German government and has enhanced countless songs from the 1950s until today. With the nickname "The German Fairchild," the U73 compressor/limiter used a variable mu design that made it incredibly popular with mastering engineers in Europe until 1980 when it was discontinued.
