Crunchrr is a really simple to use effect that adds digital artifacts to your sounds.

It works by modulating a small fractional delay line at an audio rate at high frequency, resulting in a bit crush/sample divide/erosion kind of effect. as far as i know this is the only eq plugin i can find that lets you load whatever image (even animated gifs) for the background and lets you customize colors and stuff within the plugin. currently works on windows.
