Drum Excursion is a truly experimental Drum kit. The idea was to record our TAMA drum kit at different locations so that the acoustic conditions of the respective area adds a unique character to our recordings. The recordings took place at two different locations: a forest clearing and under a highway bridge. The experiment was to find out how the drums would sound like in different environments. We recorded the results in picture and sound in order to evaluate, edit and refine them later in the studio. The outcome is an inspiring organic sounding Drum Kit!
