Performed by Mikio (Miki) Sasaki, this patch originated from a lengthy test session conducted in Aaron’s studio that helped pave the way to recording and producing Sasaki Trumpet at Orb Studios in Austin, TX.

Before the session began, we asked Miki if he knew the trumpet solo from James Horner’s Apollo 13 score. He said “of course!” – and that became the initial inspiration behind the performances driving this instrument.
