16x16 FDN Reverb for NI Reaktor

A feedback delay network (FDN) style reverb with a 16x16 Hadamard matrix for lossless feedback at unity gain. The “Freeze” function bypasses the filter and switches off the linear interpolation within the delays to prevent high frequency loss over time within the feedback path. The result is infinite, lossless feedback for DAYS. Each of the sixteen parallel delays within the feedback matrix are modulated by a sophisticated recursive frequency modulation system that produces smooth, organic random fluctuations similar to Perlin Noise, capable of very subtle or extreme modulations.

I hope everyone is having a good monday. I spent some time making these images with midjourney to see if I could have it generate useful images to make wavetables out of.

If you didn't know yet, you can drag and drop .png's into Serum and it creates wavetables from images. High brightness means wave goes up, low brightness wave goes down.

The main improvement from the original SmartAmp is that training takes less than five minutes on CPU (vs. 8 hours on GPU) for comparable sound quality. Training has also been integrated into the plugin. For best sound, use with additional Reverb/IR.

All nearly-400 Airwindows plugins

For many years, I’ve built up a library of DSP effects, executed in a stripped-down, retro-friendly format that is impossibly light and efficient compared to how plugins usually are. It’s also completely overwhelming at nearly 400 plugins all with their own names (or iterations like Channel6, Channel7, Console8, Console9 and so on) and stuck on older formats like VST2, because for years I insisted that Steinberg might try to take away the legal right to put out VST2 plugins and I wasn’t going to risk that, being committed to supporting all possible machines.
