hey all!

I hope everyone is having a good monday. I spent some time making these images with midjourney to see if I could have it generate useful images to make wavetables out of.

If you didn't know yet, you can drag and drop .png's into Serum and it creates wavetables from images. High brightness means wave goes up, low brightness wave goes down.

Since all of these images are AI generated I am making this post available to everybody.

Attached is a .zip with all those pictures to make it easier for you to download, also this way they'll definitely stay .png files.

This is interesting because those diffusion models still strive to create perfectly symmetrical compositions since they harmonize a semantic result from noise, without any kind of intelligence. At least for the most naive approaches it's just a propagation thing.

This gives not perfect but an "almost there" symmetry, exactly like what we can find in nature, and this is even more organic and beautiful, knowing that came from a computation.

Would you mind to share your prompt ? Curious to use it in a Stable Diffusion workflow setup.

cool i love things like this yesterday i was dropping audio files into the AudioRealism.ABL3.v3 and it generates 303 paterns from the shape of the audio file great fun, will definitely try this thanks for the drop
