Melodyne can be overwhelming. In this video Fab shows you what you need to know to get going and subtly tune your vocal tracks.

For those of you who deal with singers or kazoo players who are not necessarily 100% in tune, (You know who you are) here is a video on how to make the most of Melodyne.

Melodyne is a very powerful set of tools that lets you fix just about anything you could imagine but like all powerful tools, it can be confusing. In this video Fab discusses how to think about the tuning process, the caveats you need to know about, describes the essential tools and shares tips and tricks on how to become great at the Melodyning process and subtly tune your vocal tracks.

Thanks this is great for Protools users. If you use Studio One 2 it's easy as 1 2 3 with melodyne fully integrated

If you can stand a different approach :
How to use Melodyne on vocals... ?
Well, as a producer, I write it on a number of CD's, put each one in a solid jewel box, stack them next to me, and each time a singer goes out of tune, I throw a Melodyne box at him. I can honestly say I haven't heard false notes in the studio for quite a while now...!

Has anyone been able to view this on a Mac? There a "MAC OS" folder in the share that's empty, and although the main file says it's an mp4, nothing will play it, including Quicktime 7, Quicktime 10.2, and DivX. I downloaded it from two different servers with exactly the same results. dunno
