MP4| 409 MB

In this tutorial, Nasko will show you everything you need to know about creating your own plugin in Patcher. He’ll show you how to add and route multiple effects and VST’s, as well as how to create your own custom knobs to control any parameter you want.

You can even change the design, color, and layout of the knobs to anything you want! Watch this video now to arm yourself with a powerful tool that will help you work faster with more control over your sounds.

Being an FL user for...well, about 67 yrs now, I've been meaning to mess around with the Patcher, but I always manage to put it off as a I'll-do-it-tomorrow task. This might be the kick in the ass I needed. Thanks deuces. :)

According to some, Olymoon, I'm older than dirt, rocks and God combined.
I wasn't using FL, or Fruity Loops, as it was, but I knew someone who had it when it started out as a drum machine--eight channels and a 64-step sequencer, I believe. I remember it because I was doing some lite drum/guitar studio work and thought it would be fun to mess with...and, I remember when it was because the AKAI 2000XL had dropped around that time and, even though I was still in middle school, I was pretty sure I really needed to buy one with the money I definitely didn't have. :)
I started using FL roughly when Edison came out, so...a decade ago? Maybe longer? I don't remember, FL8 or FL9? All I know is that most people who are new to making beats or producing any genre that I do naturally assume that I took breaks from playing with my "real" instruments and vinyl records (more like cassette tapes,) to feed dinosaurs.
So yeah, Olymoon. I could be off, but it was approximately 67 yrs ago...give or take.
I'm stuck in the middle; too young to be an Oldhead, too old to be The Next Hot Thing. XD
Haha, I just saw an old video on YouTube for McDSP plugins and the guy was like "We've been around longer than anyone *ever*...so, like...ten yrs."
People forget how far we've come in such a short amount of time.

So you are really 67 years doing music this way, producing.. You have a lot of knowledge and experience then...

There were no waves plugs or anything like that back then in the late 50's - 60s, but FL .0067 3 track studio came preinstalled on an Elliot CPU...
Not many were sold though due to the exorbitant price

Haha, I *might* have an old copy of FL 3.5 laying around that I got from my buddy who is a little older than me as a joke gift. I was making music in...2002? when 3.0 came out, but I wasn't using DAW's, I was doing some jamming around and a bit of studio work, but finally, I couldn't keep jumping around between DAWs, so I really settled into FL as my main DAW when 7 came out (I thought it was 8, but...) Also, I'm not some rabid fan of FL Studio (you know how some people get pissy when you don't use "their" DAW,) it isn't any "better" than any other workstation; it just fits my recording/sampling/sequencing workflow the best.
But, yeah--I'm too young to be an oldhead, but too old to be too "relevant." XD
Hehehe....an Elliot CPU; did not know that though.
