Sonic Academy How To Make 138 Trance with Bjorn Akesson TUTORiAL-SYNTHiC4TE screenshot

Back by popular demand, Sonic Academy proudly presents an all new 'How To Make' course with Trance legend Bjorn Akesson.

In How To Make 138 Trance, Bjorn takes us on a spiritual eastern journey with a monster track based on his 2011 critically acclaimed hit Painting Pyramids, which went down in the history books and still remains in the minds of many as their all time favourite.

From creating the initial beat and pumping bass to writing the main theme layering synths, instruments and vocals, right through to arranging and perfecting the mix, Bjorn builds this track in a methodical, easy-to-follow way that producers of all abilities will be able to apply to any DAW and not just Cubase.

This is definitely one that shouldn't be missed!

Horsemen, Don't insist bro. I have allergy to Cubase.
In it, I'm getting lost.

Even if it CUBASE OR TETRIS - you should carefully pick up methods of trance prodcution, not cubase.
I'm Ableton user, but i have learned tons tutorials of trance music production on Cubase, Fl Studio for methods

What methods? They're just some threadbare production tips not guiding you to produce more meaningful music.

By watching more the videos, I'm gaining more confidence that the producers don't know much from the music. They're just pretending behind those knobs and sliders.

I can swear that I've not found even one of the tracks being produced in any of the courses, enjoyable.

They're just producing but 100% of them are not for making favorable moments for the listeners to savour their productions.

Well, when i watch how another people makes its' own music, i become more creative and achieve the ways i can manipulate the sound. So 'methods' - i mean the way of actions you can do to get something

On the other hand, yes, much of tutorials are just videoshoots of how they create their music.

I don't like the track in this tutorial but i can find here some thoughts that can improve my production activity regardless of DAW

I, you and everyone else know almost all the techniques to have a production (maybe sometimes we just forget some of them or have not enough time to be more creative) but no one as tutor tries to add some new concepts to the music and causes you to look at the music from an exalted view.

Making music is more different than producing something.

So many experts on production here...yet I'm willing to bet none have the catalog and success that Bjorn has. Tutorials and software are not going to make you better...you have to put in the work like these guys have.

try to enter the bussines, its very hard today ...i dont understand why every track prduced or signed by the label must be a monster confronting latest releases ...i mean, between labels there is an absurd competition, many artists get left outside because for an example they did not make the builds more who knows how ...i also dont support shity music but a goos production is a good production ...this is one of the reasons trance music have way less variety than once had ...i listen to old asot sets 1 to 200, even in the 300's there is absolutely very very nice music and variations between tracks, and many different artists ...labels today have their own heros and dont let others grow, they should implement remix competitions on a weekly basis so mor can show their vision on dance music, like once was ...fuck the music industry ! never sucked so badly ...
