REAPER is one of the best DAW and I use it a lot this days. But I definitely not advise to make your first song here. There are much more friendly ways to do this.

Thanks Horseman. I will take a look at any Kenny G video. If it wasn't for his videos on the Reaper site i would not have had a clue. I hated his voice and mannerisms at
first ,but having watched all his videos at least once, I am now very fond of him. Also grateful for the time he puts in for us Reaper users. I also like his last comment on each video.

is combination of cubase , ableton & logic.

I have never used S1 but if you are looking to see a walk through and workflow with Reaper this set of videos will give you a taster to make your own mind up. I've watched the first six and if you are thinking of trying Reaper i think this is a great intro. Also download the free demo and see it it floats your boat on not. Nothing to lose, all to gain.
