Totalling over 3 hours of indepth video tuition, the Transition FX Masterclass covers a variety of effects including risers, pitch ups, pitch downs, sweeps, drum fills, drum builds, reverse sounds and more. Presented across 18 individual sections, get step by step instruction on how to make each type of sound from scratch; learn how and when to use each type of sound in your productions and expand your skills with a diverse range of essential sound design techniques using synths such as MASSIVE, SERUM and SYLENTH.

They need to get that archaic synth out of their advertisements. Massive has always been too loud for me.

Wavetable synths kill the sound designing talent of the producers. Just changing the wavetable position knob and producing random odd sounds and being proud. Nothing worse than that.

Good sound designers will produce good-sounding sounds with a WT Synth. Noobs will just tweak WT Pos and produce random mediocre sounds. Can't really see the problem.

"Good sound designers" were noobs first...

Wavetable synths are extremely interesting, but it's true that to get musical result with it, you need to know your thing.

Any pro was once a noob, but not every noob will turn into a pro. Foster was implying that people without experience are benefitting of the advantages brought by WT synths without putting hard work, which is a false statement by far.

Exactly. It's much easier to learn on a two osc 5 wave each synth, than on an WT one.

But the course is about transition FX, so may be he want to say you can get any noise easily out of a wavetable synth.
In the course there is only one "real" wavetable synth, Serum, as Massive is not as flexible as a synclavier or Serum.

Thanks Horsemen! You're the best.

BTW, over 6 GB is not too much for 3 hour tutorial?

I love ask videos encoding. The put the large amount of materials in the smallest space.

As of ASK you are right. The vid-files are astonishing small given the good quality of video and sound.

Nevertheless, thank you Horsemen!

They need to get that misleading "Masterclass" out of their advertisements.

There used to be a time when 'masterclasses' where given by real masters of their art, not every other random bedroom producer with slightly above-average skills.

Well, the times they are a-changing...
