From the cover of this issue, they are comparing Maschine Jam against the Pioneer Toraiz.

This is stupid because these are in a totally different price category: Jam is 400 $ whereas Toraiz is about 1400 $.

Thanks anyway for sharing.

For this issue we’ve a bit of a new gear overload. It starts with two highly anticipated bits of kit on the cover – and our test bench – in the shape of Native Instruments’ Maschine Jam and PioneerDJ’s standalone Toraiz SP-16 sampler. While they both offer different workflows – and land at very different price points – both claim to bridge the gap between studio creativity and live performance, so we’ve put them head-to-head to help you work out which you should be adding to your wishlist.

I think they acknowledge the price difference...

Agreed but they are also targetting two different crowds: Toraiz is DJ centric whereas NI's gear is more oriented toward music creation.

Well, my 2 cents anyway...

Thanks Sunny! Gotta check this out. Thinking about getting the jam. Also do folks know that all you have to do is get the mag and answer the questions to get the sample packs? Just my 2 cents. Great upload!
If it bangs I want it!
