Home Recording Studio: Build It Like the Pros, 2nd Edition screenshot
Course Technology PTR | 2nd Edition Sep 2010 | 365 Pages | PDF | 16.7 MB
With the advances in digital technology, musicians can now produce their own music. But the gear is only part of the equation when it comes to recording and mixing. The next part is finding a soundproof room that you can produce it in. Unfortunately, any old room in your house will not suffice for a quality recording. Without a decent room, you'll never be able to record a studio-quality recording you'll be proud of and excited to have other people hear.

The Cambridge Companion to Wagner by Thomas S. Grey screenshot
English | Publisher: Cambridge University Press, 2008 | 388 Pages | epub+pdf (conv.) | 5,4 MB
Richard Wagner is remembered as one of the most influential figures in music and theatre, but his place in history has been marked by a considerable amount of controversy. His attitudes towards the Jews and the appropriation of his operas by the Nazis, for example, have helped to construct a historical persona that sits uncomfortably with modern sensibilities. Yet Wagner's absolutely central position in the operatic canon continues.

Ulli Bogershausen – Easy Fingerstyle Volume 2 screenshot
ENG | PDF + MP3 | 40.1 MB
15 melodic tunes for solo guitar. 48 pages, CD incl.

With this edition Ulli Bögershausen follows up the success of the first volume of “Easy Fingerstyle”. The resulting 14 melodious pieces with song character range from easy to fairly advanced. The overall degree of difficulty is slightly higher than in the first volume, in order to present players who have already worked their way through the previous pieces with a bit of challenge. One of the compositions from the first volume, “Percussive Groove”, has in the meantime developed into a fully-fledged concert piece, which Bögershausen has incorporated into his live programme. The new parts will test the abilities even of relatively advanced players.

The Cambridge Companion to Schubert by Christopher H. Gibbs screenshot
English | Publisher: Cambridge University Press, 2006 | 356 Pages | epub+pdf (conv.) | 12 MB
This Companion to Schubert examines the career, music, and reception of one of the most popular yet misunderstood and elusive composers. Sixteen chapters by leading Schubert scholars make up three parts. The first seeks to situate the social, cultural, and musical climate in which Schubert lived and worked, the second surveys the scope of his musical achievement, and the third charts the course of his reception from the perceptions of his contemporaries to the assessments of posterity.
