I have also tried it and I can say that I did not find any problem or have had any crashes. Dc works well even with large projects with many tracks and plugins

I forgot the information.

I have installed "Cubase.Elements.v11.XT"
and I didn't uninstall that.
I updated "2. Soft ELicenser.exe" of v11 pro installer.
(it spent very long time.)

maybe it's related with the problems.

Since i have deleted this release, can you tell me which eLicenser License this thing contains?

If was v20 or v22, you have nothing changed in your system that Elements v11 XT have installed with...
And that is a whole other story, license related problems.
What i am talking about is that this version is unstable, untrusted, and btw, you have exact same program in Cubase Elements XT installation, just select to install SL and SX version, in which SX version is this actuall Cubase PRO 11 release.

11 XT = b22 - 1.32.0.1
11 pro = same

XT has no vari audio, render in place, batch export.
but this version has.
and I don't know about the SL, SX.

it's unstable but not so much. it's enough to work.

When you are installing latest Cubase Elements extender, you have option to install additional SX and SL versions.
They don't have any desktop shortcuts, but there are aplications in Cubase Elements installation folder.
Then try the SX version , and you will find the exact same thing :)

I installed using the steps and i get no errors at all but when I try and start Cubase I get no valid license found, program will quit. Any suggestions. Do I open Elicencer control and let it go online? I haven't let it yet as its not something you would normally let happen?

Cubase 8.5 elements extended is just fine and I bet a lot of people don't know all the features ...
Ok Cubase pro but is it really essential?
I read about cubase 5, yes ok h2o and hats off but do stereo tests comparing it to version 8 which is basically original!
If no one knows how to overcome the protections then it means that it is right and also that the Steinberg engineers have the hexagonal balls with all due respect to all.

You know what? I'm an owner of Cubase Pro 8.5. I'm pretty sure that there are features that i still don't know.

I wish i could find a tutorial for Cubase Pro 8.5 as if i'm totally a new user. Do you know any of them?

For you folks having trouble with the installation I'd recommend you uninstall any previous versions using a util like Revo Uninstaller and reload everything from scratch. Also make sure you're meeting the minimum system requirements.

Working pretty good on parallels desktop mbp 2019 and catalina. Win 10 latest. Cannot get 7ths on chord track though. Tested for hours so far.

After a couple of days of testing, it still works just fine. Haven't tried any large projects yet but still ... . I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I jinxed it. Facing some cases of detuning when shifting to DC. Sometimes it is enough to switch it back off, sometimes I have to restart Cubase.

Random crashes are getting more and more frequent. I give up. I'm sticking with Elements and Studio One.

Well, tried this just for kicks (Reaper user), and I was pleasantly surprised. Granted I have not really stressed it out but my big issue before was the lack of delay compensation...this actually has good DC! Certainly not going to judge this with my minimal testing but not too bad. I'm on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 1809 on an old and slow Toshiba Celeron laptop with 4 Gigs of RAM.

Bro I respect you and your work, honestly!

All this problem, from my point of view is because there is on the one side trolls, on the other side people like myself or/and people who don't know how to install eLicenser, which leads them to non working software at all. *so that would be just License problem


First side, trolls or ignorant people, they are spreading fake words how they managed to install software successfully, but not what happens afterwards.
*that is all related to License installation and program installation which is not a wisdom, but again, software functionality is not related to simple installation !
To be clear that claims are pure misinformation which makes a BIG confusion here.

Yourself have done and contributed this site with quality release and good repacks, so you are familiar with the mater, so you can understand what I am talking about .

For example, please tell me how come that some software is working on your system but on mine doesn't? *same system version, same build etc.

How come that all I need to do is to enable or disable ASIO guard, or maybe I have to change soundcard, my IE is outdated, so I can use all features properly, which means
To get working software without random crashes, with working PDC, which I think, a lot of people that are claiming PDC is working, they actually don't know what it is PDC

Or the biggest nonsense I have ever heard is, to change Windows version from full PRO to LITE, or to LTSC to get working Cubase k'ed software.

As far I know, no one had that kind of issues with your releases.
That is my personal biggest problem!

And yes, THIS THING IS STOLEN and RENAMED VR's Cubase SX 11 version!

After successful program and eLicense installation users can get :

1. PDC is not working
2. Random CRASHES no matter what you do!
3. Adding 100 empty audio tracks, sometimes works, sometimes not, but
again after at next move program crashes.
4. Loading project made with Cubase 10.5 , in most cases leads to not opening channel strip, or get corrupted EQ VST? Not loaded.
5. PDC doesn't work properly.
* Native VSTi (MB Compressor) on the master bus, makes timing and CLICK track, to say okay, but all other tracks are affected to random delay !
PDC is useless
6. Auto Align is the worst ever, and causes CRASHES !
7. Audio Stretching also!
8. And so on, so forth .....

Hennessey, the problem here is that you want everyone to believe what you are saying. Other members are saying that certain things that dont work for YOU, and others, do work for them. Your reply to them has been that it is a lie, yet you have no way of proving them wrong ... and neither do I. You are stressing over this release, and causing chaos here just as you did at AS trying to convince others to stay away from it. Everyone knows what they are getting into. Simply because this release does not work for you, does not mean that it can't work better for someone else. Time to move on. Let the others decide for themselves. As I told you, you can lead a horse to the water but can't make it drink. Time to move on.

Okay, i am getting in a loop with that wrong statements ....
At least you could give them a free download options since it is not a proper release and that would be fair, since the initial one was on Google Drive ;)...
I hope you understood what i was going to say ;)
Remember, MONOs and Zaka release of Cubase of 10.5 was on free hosters also :)

EDIT : Just for the record I do not need this version, i am good with full Elements release . Like many other I have my workflow, i know what i am doing with software , so that is not a problem .
You can see in comments that is more about not working than is working.
I don't have nothing against You, but the problem are other users who say , oh yes, PDC is all fine, with minor stability issues, nothing BIG.... What is the benefit for that :)

I am leaving this thread also, I was trying to help and prevent inexperienced users to get in a loop with no working Licenses and at the end with software... But I can not go against 100 people :)
