ok, i'm on win8.1.1 x64. it DOES NOT work in anyway. i installed it about 30 times, modifying the compatibility in properties with Win8 and Win7. Installed as an admin. Tried different combinations of pace drivers, quicktime, and all the shit everywhere.
how does it fuckin work on YOUR pc with win8.1.1 x64?!?!?!?!?!?!?! how do you do that, i'm becoming mad.

please, don't tell me "man there are some many daw, pick another one up and don't bother" i already use another daw, but i want to try this version of pro tools. so please, don't tell me these snobberies :) and please help me

Hi everybody,
I installed this version the last year but only now I got a project to work with, unfortunately after 10 minutes, kaboom!, everything freezes, forcing me to reboot my laptop by switching off and on . I tried a few times, the same outcome. Any suggestions ?
Before this version i had installed HD 10.3.5, working fine.
Just curious , is there a big difference between 10.3.5 and 10.3.9 ?

Confirmed working with no errors so far. I'm on a 5 year old Gateway NV54 laptop with Windows 8.1 and everything is operating smoothly.

I installed pro tools on Windows 8.1 using the instructions but in the end I get this error with file "bui.dll", not have access to the entry point.

Also set the file "pro tools.exe" as administrator but still the same.

Does anyone know the solution?

You should install the killerbugs v5 again (as administrator).

this error occurred to me to give to repair the installation of Avid HD Driver 64.

In the end it did not work this version of pro tools, I have returned to 10.3.4 :(

Installation Instructions:

1- uninstall previous versions, and delete the folder where it was installed the Pro Tools (C: Program Files (X86) /Avid/Pro Tools)
2- Unzip the file "Pro Tools 10.3.9.RAR ", install by clicking on "Setup.exe" and restart.
3- Run as administrator the file "Pro Tools HD 10.3 patch (beta 7) .exe".
4- Run as administrator the file "killerBugs5.exe " and install normally ... Now choose the installation directory is done automatically by the installer ...

For Windows 8:

5- Go to the website of Paceap: http://ilok.com , download and install the driver for Windows;
6- Once installed go to the installation folder of Pro Tools Pro Tools Installer ISSetupPrerequisites) search for and install the files Avid Core Runtime, Avid HD Driver x64 and DigiDriver x64. Note: these files are hidden, you need to enable the Windows Explorer to show hidden files ...

Does anyone have a Windows 7 do not need to take the steps described in paragraph 5 and 6.

To use the virtual instruments of Pro Tools you need to download the Avid Instruments.

I had no problem installing Pro Tools and, minus a couple of plugins causing DAE errors (mostly Waves), I've had no problems.

Does anybody know if Avid HEAT is also cracked? I can't get it to run. It keeps giving me an authorization error.

Has anyone tried pro tools 10 on Windows 10?

The first time at windows update I could open Pro Tools 10 but few days later could not open, show me a massage "insert iLok for Pro Tools 10 HD".

iLok license manager can not be either open.
