INSTALLATION
1. If you already have a version of Cubase Elements 7 installed, uninstall it, uninstall Steinberg eLicenser and delete the contents of ProgramData\Syncrosoft\ (!!!!!!!) on your root drive.
2. Mount the included ISO with your preferred image mounting software.
3. Set your system clock to a date far in the future; somewhere around 2040 works just fine.
4. Run setup.exe and follow the prompts to install Cubase Elements 7. 32- and 64-bit versions will both work!
5. Run Cubase Elements 7. A popup should tell you that you have 30 days of free trial remaining. Let the program finish loading then close it.
6. Go to the Crack folder and open the folder for your version. Copy Cubase LE AI Elements 7.exe to your Cubase 7 Elements program folder (overwrite).
7. ONCE YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE CRACK, revert your system clock.
8. Hammer into your brain that you CAN NOT INSTALL ANY OFFICIAL UPDATES FROM STEINBERG and CAN NOT REGISTER YOUR SOFTWARE!
9. Enjoy!

FAQ
Q: Why only the elements version? Where's Cubase 7.5?
A: Elements has a watered down version of the eLicenser/Syncrosoft DRM which makes it super easy to crack. A full version release is in the works. AiR quoted 4000 man-hours for their Cubase 5 release, so be patient.

Q: Does this crack work for the 64-bit version?
A: Yes. Take your cracked exe from the appropriate folder, as described in the installation instructions.

Q: Who the fuck is XCLUSiVE?

Cubase elements is f*ckin' useless. I saw the feature comparison of all Cubase product. And I conclude, this is useless. I prefer to be patient for the real Cubase for unlimited features

Reverse engineering code is as illegal as putting apart your car or your alarm clock with a screw driver.

What is illegal is if you do reverse engineering code to circumvent a dedicated copy protection.

Cubase and creativity...

Funny, because I too like the Reason/Combinator - Ableton/Racks - FL/Patcher type features which Cubase misses, but Cubase's modulation options are more than satisfactory. I listen to a lot of DnB and Dubstep, genres which both have huge amounts of modulation for both synths and FX. I must say, to my ears at least, the modulation in a lot of DnB like Noisia and BSE is far more interesting than that of producers like Skrillex, KTN, etc. ....Macros are great in Ableton, but people seem to just make talking formant-esque basses with them and nothing else. Tunes like that are dying a death by now. All of the interesting modulation is still going on, as it always has been, in DnB, which is predominantly Cubase. It might take a little longer but the results are far superior. The audio engines in programs like Cubase, Pro Tools and Logic beat the living crap out of everything else too. Sick of people dissing Cubase and saying it's old, outdated, etc. On the contrary, it's far far far superior and much more professional for composing, mixing and mastering. Kids can keep using Ableton and playing with macros, making the "Brostep" sounds of 2010, which if you look at it objectively was nothing more than a genre of Native Instrument software demos. ;) Long Live King Cubase!

I'm dying inside that I moved to Windows 8 and can no longer use my cracked Cubase 5. Now I'm stuck figuring out where to move next and I'm not a big fan of other DAWs. I think I might have to go the Studio One route and though it is innovative it's not as full-featured not to mention the GUI is an eyesore. I guess not many DAWs can fill that Cubase void. I would love to eventually get 7.5 but I hate dongles and I've spent a lot of money recently and can't swing a purchase like that right now. Shitty situation. damn
