if someone has confidence,knoledge and thinks he can crack Cubase 7 ! i would be very glad to help if a specific task with instruction's will given to me ! i know that it needs thousand of hours but if hundreds of people try i think it can be done....

Only one problem:

I cant find the *.vstpret files foe Groove Agent One & Halion One.

I have the "original" Cubase 5.1.1 installed in the computer, so I have the content files at "C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content\HALionOne SoundBanks" but the portable version does not detect it.

Also, I have the Groove Agent One content installed at C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound

With all the Daws Available you think that Cubase 7 is any better? BS use Sonar Sequia, Protools just as Good if not Better Espcially Samplitude

ouch, only a few hundred hours, so with samp x, seq12, pt10hd, live4-5-6-7-8-9, reaper 2-3-4, audition, sonars,nuendoz/cubases so yeah mate i know them all, inside out, prob better than most ppl or you ever will...

i play music for 25 years, into digital studio stuff/ITB for 10+ years...

Cubase/Nuendo+NEK are DAWs for people that work with standard music notation and at the same time need a powerful AV/MIDI sequencer.

Samplitude/Sequoia are wonderful, the audio quality is superior, but the score editor has an unpractical design.

If you need to write orchestral music, the score of MAGIXs becomes impossible to read, also it has not percussion fonts and this is more than important.

Also the loop construction, for to create percussion patterns, is not as practical than Cubase/Nuendo.

The print score function of Steinbergs is better and has more possibilities.

Cubase/Nuendo are mature products, the menus have each function where it should be, there are not arbitrary distribution of functions, they will not surprise to anybody but at the same time never fail.

And whats most important, the people that make Cubase/Nuendo "know exactly" for what "musical" purpose was designed each function of the MIDI protocol, nothing like "we use only Control Changes" or "for what do you need System Exclusive?".

If I need to mix audio, probably I will use Pyramix, it is better than both and has all the mixing and mastering tools in the same program.
