Exactly !

I don't know which are exactly the limitations of the Free Demo
(by 'Free Demo', I suppose that you're talking about the 'FREE Reaktor Player' available via the Official Website ?).

Anyway, the best thing for you (in case you don't still have it !)
is to get that :

'Native Instruments Reaktor 5 v5.8.0 UNLOCKED' by 'Team R2R'

As it's an 'UNLOCKED' version, you can load Reaktor Player Libraries without any activations, as well as other Libraries.
For me, it works perfectly ! yes

How can Arturia's Minimoog be a true hardware emulation if it's polyphonic?

I mean i get that the circuits are modelled etc but where was the polyphony on the minimoog?
