MONARK captures the pure organic sound of the undisputed king of monophonic analog synthesizers. Years of meticulous research capture every nuance of the synth at the center of four decades of popular music. The first choice for bass and lead sounds from electronic and hip hop to indie rock and beyond, no other synth comes close to this combination of power, richness, and musical tone. Delivering the true sound of a synth as famous as the artists who used it, MONARK is the holy grail of analog modeling.

MONARK runs in REAKTOR PLAYER or the full REAKTOR 5 version, and is also optimized for easy browsing from the MASCHINE hardware.

NOTE
Requires unlocked Reaktor to use. You know what it is :)

Why do people always ask for the mac version like that speeds the process along?
I am quiet sure when there is one it will pop up here. Some mac users seem to have a sense of entitlement because they own one of those machines and they are royalty of some sort.If you really want to utilize the instrument use boot camp.

Thanks to R2R and the uploaders wink

this synth really have balls, it's perfect for what it's supposed to do, bass and leads mainly. Some said it's boring or i dont know what sylenth is better.. well. that's just your opinion, thank god for that. And dont listen to Kookaboo with the hype thing, he just went mad cause he couldnt try it, he speaks farts (or farts speaks?) about things without even trying before. This synth is not hype, this synth is for real.

So your answer is, to sum it up, "sound quality".

What can it do, what the much praised DIVA can't (which is polyphonic)?

@ Comb -- I don't need to try every new shit that comes around the corner. It's enough boring to listen the audio preview @ NI-site. Nearly any other Synth can do better than Monark! tongue

Ahhh ive been waiting for this!!!!! :-) But any chance of a mac version?
I didn't realise that you needed Reaktor 5 to use Monark, I have Reaktor 6.0 free player version, how can i get reaktor 5.8 full version so i can use monark? cheers guys

yahoooooooooooooooooooooo

Gulliver,
1) It sounds great
2) it's full of Classic Preset
3) his interface is perfect

ok it's not polyphonic (even if you could put 12 Monark tracks in a project and solve the problem) but songs are made by both monophonic and polyphonic synths and this one it's better than all the others monophonic, except for specific emulations like ABL2 for the 303 or the TAL-Bassline for the SH-101. Indeed, this is actually the best Minimoog emulator avaiable (imo) and it's a 10.9mb file while the real one costs atleast 3000 bucks.

I just have to find out how to sync the LFO with the external BPM, then it'll be perfect =D

Monark is good but my opinion best Minimoog emulation is Arturia Minimoog (MiniV) its true hardware emulation + polyphonic + have FX's + using less CPU then Monark + you can use plugin or standalone + you dont need Reaktor.

Sorry, could be just taste, but Arturia's MiniV really sucks.

By the way for all Mac users: the only way to use it is through the Free Reaktor Player downloadable from NI website and then routing the MIDI tracks containing Monark (that will run only in demo mode) into other audio tracks, so you can record the output before the 30 minutes given by the demo.

just tried the DIVA, the only thing better is the poliphony. Monark sounds far better, it has less knobs and things but they do their job (just tweak the feedback on both synths, DIVA increase the volume of some dB, Monark saturates the sound in a unique manner)

Lord Gaga,

How heavy is it on CPU, compared to, say, DIVA?

BTW, it's so fun to read comments from people who base their opinion on a synth only by listening to mp3 shitty demos from a website; it expresses a lot about their musical level...

Don't forget the people who miss their dubstep presets and the guys who cannot make "real Dutch house" with it because it's not polyphonic. rofl

Lord Gaga, Minimonstas patchs good also plus using less CPU then Arturia Minimoog but Arturia was worlds one and only original Minimoog emulation manufacturer with partnership/permission of Moog Music Inc. You may not like Arturia's patchs but its true analog emulation.

Nice synth, but the Arturia Minimoog is better and the u-he Diva is much, much better.

Lord Gaga, Minimoog renamed to MiniV thats all, almost everything is same as before. When i see better Minimoog emulation then my mind will change.

Waaaaaa... Monarch works from the Unlocked Reaktor 5 Standalone version for me, but not from the VST version. Why can it be so? Any ideas? Thanks.

@ Odelay,

As long that your versions : '.exe' (Standalone) & '.dll' (VSTi/VST)
are the same, there's absolutely no reason that both don't work fine
within your system. no

Simply check that all the versions you're using (both 'Standalone' & 'VSTi/VST' versions) are the 'last-in-date' version :

'v5.8.0.550'

If all your versions have this same number of version, all should working perfectly...
It's my case under 'XP Pro SP3' (x86-32bit). yes

Already posted by Lord Gaga. wink

Very nice site, added to my feedreader immediately. wink

Concerning Monark: Perfect sound for my kind of music, Monark and the Diva make a nice mighty couple indeed.

But: I don't like the Reaktor concept at all, I'd love to have that (and Razor) as a VST like Massive, I've always problems with 3rd party presets, if you reinstall you have to install the complete Reaktor etc. Man, I hope they soon drop that Reaktor player crap. angry

Well, I had a Reaktor 4 version previously installed... (Komplete of Komplete 4) But I guess the installation should have replaced it with the newest version. I wasn't able to uninstall Reaktor 4 separately. Nevertheless, Reaktor appears now as "Reaktor 5" in my VST list (both in Sonar X2 and Cubase 5.1). Can anybody give me some further advice?

Thanks.
