just go in your windows firewall inbound you creat new rule, block studioone.exe in your program file folder, do same for outbound and it work perfectly. no need to touch the host file
After don't use the addon of presonus cos not great

The Add-ons are DAW functions that many people frequently use.

Removing add-ons can disable much of Studio One 6 and will cause existing projects to not open or load properly.

Please, don't dismiss this time-bomb as some small issue.

This was generally not a problem before the 26th March 2024.

I believe R2R will eventually find the problem and issue an update but, it might take a while.

studio one is blocked at the activation level, to remedy this, I created a rule in the Windows outgoing firewall by selecting program files --> studioOne.exe, and block the connection

So, given that this release contained only the Studio One application with no addons, I'm assuming people were registering Presonus accounts so they could access the addon content?
That would seem pretty risky!
Having only installed the R2R release a few days ago the hosts file method worked for me and the program works fine. But then, I don't have a Presonus account or any addons other than what was included in the basic installation.

I didn't do anything different. Just simply opened up Studio One as I have been doing for years and the deactivation message came up. I downloaded all of the Studio One Content prior and used the R2R to License everything. Once again.... I deleted everthing and ran CCleaner to remove anthing that deleting and uninstalling didn't remove. Reinstalled and ran the R2R License generator. Put it in and it says Thank you for Licensing Studio One. Hit OK and the deactivate message comes up after it gets through the preload scanner. Blocked all inbound related to Studio One in defender and edited the host file to redirect Studio One from talking to their servers. Nothing I've tried works. It used to be very simple.

Uninstall with revo, in advance mode to remove everything.
After install presonus studio one but don't start it
Go in your firewall creat new rule in inbound select studio one exe in program file folder
Creat an outbound select studioone exe too
You have to do inbound.d and outbound rule
And after you can start presonus and do the r2r patch and install presonus add on too that r2r posted.
No need to modify the host but you can too if you want

You don't need to unisnstall, just to do inbound.d and outbound rules and put your old license when ask for it. This work for me.

Just figured this out using virtual box. 1 Install 2 Before running Studio One you have to block Inbound and outbound both Studio One.exe and Pluginscanner.exe. 3 (everything else the same as usual from this point forward) Run Studio One and using offline activation. Run R2R License generator. Generate Licenses and apply.
