Does anyone have problems with the Presonus Channel Strip?
It doesn't work and you have to close Studio One from the Windows Task Manager.

A Channel Strip crash occurs and a ".lock" is created at the location:
C:/ProgramData/PreSonus/Extensions/

I'm testing it from VirtualBox.

Hey folks, anyone having problems with this S1 release? I can't use it
anymore! It keeps deactivating.

Im having the same issue and it happened today.
When i disable my network and activate it, it runs fine, but when i enable the network back it shows the popup window saying " This computer has been de-activated for use with Studio One. You can manage activations in your Presonus Account." I already have the presonus addresses added to hosts file, this is something new maybe?
Update: I fixed it by making an outbound rule for the Studio One.exe inside Firewall-> Advanced Settings

Control Panel -> Firewall -> Advance Settings then right click on "outbound rules" and "create new". The rest is very very easy.

block this adresses inside the hosts file in Windows/system32/drivers/etc.
Open notepad as administrator and navigate to the etc. folder than press "all files" from the dropdown menu to see the hosts file.
Add this 2 lines
127.0.0.1 registration.presonus.com
127.0.0.1 updates.presonus.com
After that go to firewall->Advanced Settings->Inbound/Outbound rules->New rule->Program->This program path = Studio One.exe inside Presonus folder in program files(usually), unless you installed it in separate drive->Block the connection
Make both inbound and outbound rules and you should be fine.

Did all, not working unless I stay offline completely, turn my wifi off.

I didnt reinstall, I just did an outboud rule and it worked for me, the only difference i noticed is that i dont get the news feed from presonus on the main screen of S1.
Another thing to check is under firewall->allow and app or feature trough Windows Defender Firewall, I unchecked Studio One from there first.

Alright awesome, this worked but only when firewall is turned on (i had it turned off completely)

1. So first uncheck studio one from firewall->allow and app or feature trough Windows Defender Firewall

2. Then the Hosts file

127.0.0.1 registration.presonus.com
127.0.0.1 updates.presonus.com

To the host file:

block this adresses inside the hosts file in Windows/system32/drivers/etc.

Yep, ticking time bomb after 69 days. Firewall > Advanced Settings > Outbound rules, worked. But it was not good for vst plugins that require internet.

I keep getting this message when trying to install Studi One v6.5.2 R2R. "This computer has been deactivated for use with Studio One". Any ideas as to how to rectify this. I've deleted everything, rebooted, and fresh install to no avail.

go in your windows firewall inbound you creat new rule, block studioone.exe in your program file folder, do same for outbound and it work perfectly. no need to touch the host file
and then start you presonus, insert the key,.....

omg someone please help me mi mortified
all of a sudden starting my Studio One gets me a message saying
"This computer has been de-activated for use with Studio One. Yo can manage activations in your PreSonus Account"

i tried blocking with firewall, editing hosts file with the provided info in administrator mode, uninstalling and deleting remaining folders manually, reinstalling and cracking with keygen. always comes back to this message.

All Presonus Software is automatically deactivated on the 26th March 2024.
